James Energies specialises in the design and manufacturing of larger scale and multiple building projects and has the expertise to effectively manage the constantly changing demands placed on electrical packages. We have build a modern tailored facility to suit all our requirements and have several locations including our James Steel factory in Toowoomba equipped with overhead cranes catering for up to 28m long buildings. The facilities have been purpose built or adapted to allow specialisation in Switchroom construction to meet our Client requirements.

James Energies are responsible for the extensive electrical fitout of Light & Power, Electrical Hardware and Distribution Boards to all our transportable Switchrooms. All our services are completed in our undercover facility and are registered Electrical Contractors. We specialise in Distribution Boards, electrical services and installation as well as earthing, cabling, cable ladders and drop boxes. Our on-site labour provides valuable support in the management and equipment installation, testing and commissioning at our facilities.

Maintaining of all fire protection systems is the key to ensure proper operation during a fire event. Our in-house Fire Services provides estimates, designs, supply and fire rating install from basic smoke/fire detectors devices to full Fire Suppression Systems. Gaseous Suppression Systems are a safe and environmentally friendly way to extinguish electrical fires without causing detriment towards equipment. Our analysis, research and design solution are developed to be relevant with the Australian Standards and BCA requirements including AS1670 and AS1688.

We have over 25 years’ experience in the transportation of large Switchrooms and during this period all buildings have been delivered intact to sites or ports without damage. We have the capability to provide you with a dedicated transport solution and develop a management plan that includes consolidation and optimisation of any transport requirements. We tailor a solution to your logistic needs and guarantee equipment suitability and availability. All related items have been delivered to the most remote locations in Australia by James Energies logistics.

James Energies provides HVAC services from wall mounted split systems to fully ducted packages. All of these services are provided at the highest possible quality thanks to the commitment of our team. Our experienced certified subcontractors provide technical and informative information when specifying heat load, space, power source and humidity range equipped with the best tools and testing equipment. We will take care of all your heating, ventilation and air conditioning needs.

Our team of professional and friendly staff manage and oversee documentation for all of our projects and ensure the proper documents are created, accurate and compliant with our Quality Assurance Management System. We track, manage and store documents electronically and reduce paper usage where available. Our small team is dedicated to providing document control and data management services to our growing portfolio of projects.
